Well, here we are. It has certainly been awhile since I’ve stroked these keys for something other than Watching Over teammates, standing at the Apex of Legends, or Defending the Ancient. Instead, I find myself looking over a list of 30 concepts each representing a challenge that I aim to complete over the next 30 days. I came across this 30 Day Challenge indirectly from a friend who coincidentally provided me with something that I didn’t realize I was…Seeking.

With that being written, let’s start this writing tournament with my first opponent, creativity. What is WEBS and why is it relevant? So, I have this thing for acronyms which is almost as alive as my affection for alliteration and originally I came up with “ A SPIDER” which, for those who don’t know, stands for “a society providing interwoven diverse entertainment resources”.

Now, when me and the homie Obi brought our similar ideas together, ASPIDER became more of the spirit to this Creative Echelon body. I wanted to create a section where writing could flourish so I decided to create something attributed to that namesake, you know, a place where everyone blogs stuff or WEBS.

The idea behind this name isn’t for sake of acronym alone, but also as a representation of the beauty that a spider is able to create. A place stumbled upon by someone simply searching for substance, now finding themselves caught in an interlacing network of words spun from it’s creator both unobtrusive yet expressive at the same time. WEBS, both in its creation and existence is the epitome of this echelon’s creativity.
