Divinity: Original Sin II

The best RPG I've ever played....

Divinity Original Sin II allows you to play one of many races, classes and roles in a vibrate world where your actions actually have consequences.  You can literally kill any npc, however doing so will ruin quests that you might have wanted to finish.  Every single player has a voice over to bring out the emotion of the characters.  Fear, happiness, sadness are conveyed through amazing voice work.  The story is nicely weaved through characters that you will love and hate.  Unlike most RPGs this one does not hold your hand, you are left to your own devices to figure things out with basic clues, and riddles.  You really do need to think outside the box to solve some issues.  Also damn near 80% of your play time will be outside of combat, there are no 'random' encounters.  Each battle can be your last if you are not prepared.  Also the abilities you have can be used in and out of battle for interesting results.  Did I mention it's multiplayer as well?!

No Risk, No Reward

Sometimes we as humans are put into unfortunate situations.  We are forced to sink or swim without truly knowing what lies beneath the surface of the water.  From an early age we are taught to make "safe" decisions and to never chart the unknown.  Well, in life sometimes you must make a leap of faith in order to seek a handsome reward, or fail in the process.  Life is an interesting fickle thing in that you never know what is behind the corner.

However as humans we have the ability to manipulate our future.  We are conscious beings who wield the power to mold the world and our vision of it how we see fit.  We continue to strive for greatness and never taking failure as the absolute answer, and all of that as brought us here together to this one point.  We've all had ups and we've all had downs, but the perseverance of our human will, will constantly push us to where we want and need to be.  I don't really believe in coincidence, I believe we all have the power to change, just deep down some of us are more in-tune with that power than others.
